Mrs. Shannon believes working in etiquette education is a privilege and she feels fortunate to have it both as a career and a part of her everyday life. Mrs. Shannon has a strong desire to develop student potential through hands-on, inquiry teaching, and learning strategies. She strives to create a school where children feel safe to share their ideas, that supports risk-taking and encourages children to have a go.

She announces that "I believe working in etiquette is a privilege and I feel fortunate to have it both as a career and a part of my everyday life. I was lucky enough to have many amazing teachers when I was at school and as a result of seeing them teach and watching their creativity and enthusiasm, I knew from a very young age this was a challenge that I too wanted to undertake. I have a strong desire to develop student potential through hands-on, inquiry teaching and learning strategies. I strive to create a classroom where children feel safe to share their ideas, that supports risk-taking and encourages children to have a go. I now feel privileged to be apart of a start-up an international school in Singapore as the Head of Primary, where I can take my experience and work with staff to develop best teaching practice."

Shannon believes that children are innately creative, unique and enthusiastically curious. She is committed to maintaining a bonded, nurturing community that provides students with every opportunity to belong, grow and be respected and to prioritizing student welfare in their crucial formative years. Communication between school and home is focused on developing positive relationships, aimed at celebrating every student as a valued and loved member of our learning community.

Her class sizes are limited to 12-18 participants to allow students to benefit from individual attention and to allow the teacher to adjust the curriculum according to the student's unique needs and learning style. Shannon offers preparatory courses, she values student-centred hands-on enquiry based learning. Our engaging curriculum creates an opportunity for students to master their skills and knowledge while becoming lifelong learners with an open mindset.
